The things I am most passionate about in life are my three little women (my loves, my inspo and my reason for constantly striving to be a better person), [...wait for it..] adventuring kid-free with my partner in crime, Dan, connecting with my village (read: besties), working on my chaturanga, and nailing a shot (that I know my clients will flip over because it’s all things beauty, light, love and motherhood!). I adore my east end community and I am so grateful to call this place home.
When I’m not working in my studio photographing newborns or boho dresses/styling shoots, you can catch me soaking up the sun with my bestie in the British Virgin Islands, dreaming up my next big creative project (see the podcast!) and chasing the light. More local distractions include binging on Brené Brown and Kate Northrup books and videos, rescuing animals and helping other small, mama-run creative businesses reconnect with their soul purpose and inner goddess.
My friends often say that I am the most creative person they know. A couple have even used the word "visionary" (which seriously makes me blush although, between you and me, I love it!). I’d just say I'm a multi-passionate entrepreneur with a quest to carve a new history for motherhood. All in a day’s work ;)
According to Gretchen Rubin, I am also a rebel, which is pretty cool as an artist - it basically means that I avoid the cookie-cutter approach to newborn and motherhood photography in order to bring you a meaningful experience that will tell your story in an authentic way.
I am so privileged to be able to help mamas slow down for a moment and capture this ageless beauty of motherhood; to curate these fleeting moments in hand-bound albums and custom-built wall art that will be lovingly passed down for generations. SO lucky.
Most days you can find me in my home studio listening to The Daily with a latte in-hand (oat milk, anyone?), creatively charged and ready to bend light to my will. I crave authenticity in all things. Also, I create dreams. (Now how's THAT for an opener!)
