A photographer that I have learned from and that I greatly admire has written an insightful and important article on newborn safety over on a blog for photographers called Click it Up a Notch.  Elena Blair was a nurse for 10 years and worked in both NICU and Labour and Delivery. She is also a mama of three as well as a professional photographer.  She knows a thing or two about newborn safety.
